I remember a time when I used to “try”
All it did was let people down and make em cry
I remember not trying hard enough
So life became really tough
I remember when trying just didn’t cut it
I threw in the towel and finally split
I remember how hard it was to fit my “trys” into my real time
All it did was give me excuses to whine
I remember it all because of the pain and hurt I endured
Saying I will try really leaves the mined obscured
I also remember when I didn’t just try anymore
In the end I get taken advantage of and you walk out the door
I remember now why I say I try instead of just doing
Its cus no matter what you need time to figure out which actions are worth pursuing
I remember that just trying isn’t OK
The thing is no matter what you won’t stay!!!

Only the word mind was autocorrected. :p I can totally relate to the “I try” statement. It reminds me of the quote from Yoda in Star Wars, “Will or will not, there is no try.”

Yupp… it just sucks to be unappreciated but hey I do because I like helping when I can…

I like helping people too. Sometimes you just have to stop yourself from helping because people take advantage of kindness like that.

Well I’ll never stop no matter how much of a fool I may look because in the end the conscience will always get u… never wish bad on anyone but a thank you years from now always comes
